The Dog House Rye is situated in the village of Rye Harbour, it is a quaint village with lots of charm and character, it is also home to the Rye Nature Reserve where many walkers, cyclists and bird watchers flock to each day where the beach is accessible by foot/bike, Id like to think that its the best back garden you could imagine. The village has a local pubs and dog friendly, local shop, tea room, café and an RNLI boat station which visitors enjoy when they visit.
Away from the high seasons of the year, the village becomes quite and picturesque, which allows you to enjoy what the landscape has to offer, you cant beat a sunrise first thing in the morning or an ever changing sunset whilst out with many of your beloved companions.
From a young age I have always loved animals. When I left school at 16 I then went on to study Animal Care at Hadlow College. After finishing college I then volunteered at an Animal Shelter walking Dogs whilst Working full time at a Pony Sanctuary.
After a few years working for employers I still wanted to pursue my dream which is working with dogs and domestic animals.
It has been a passion of mine to care and look after animals of any shape or size. I have always found that in life you should do what makes you the most fulfilled and happy, And this is it for me. What better way to live life, working outside walking your amazing four legged companions or checking in on small house pets whilst their owners are away to make sure they are fed, watered and to give them some company.
Being a dog owner myself I know how important it is to make sure your pet is healthy and happy. Therefore your pet is in safe hands. I love what I do.
I have completed my City and Guilds Level 2 Dog grooming course and Level 3 Diploma City and Guilds Dog grooming at Hadlow College.
I look forward to this new venture and the future.
