The Grapevine Rye is located at the top of Conduit hill just down from Adams of Rye.

This lovely unique bar is everything you would like to find in a jazz and champagne bar. We offer a wide selection of fine wines and champagnes to tempt the pallet.

The Grapevine Rye offers an intimate lounge, secluded from the bustling high street just outside but feeling like a world away. Classic elegance together with quality antiques and rather exquisite wines.

If you love live music played by some of the top artists then you will love the Grapevine. There are weekly Jazz and music events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with well know artists such as Peter O’Donnell, Victoria Bass, Moss, Porch Swing Blues and many more.

We have featured some of the legendary and popular names in Jazz and Jazz Fushion and will continue to feature both established artists as well as new and exciting talent.

Speciality themed nights have also become popular at the Grapevine. Every Thursday is Cocktail night with top mixologist guru Chris Cogan who shaped out extensive cocktail menu, this usually starts at 6.30 finishing late. We hold a fun quiz night each Wednesday which starts at 8pm.
